Apophis is the name of a space rock that became a prominent news in the media when astronomers predicted in December 2004 that the rock is likely to hit the Earth on April 13, 2029. This news shocked the whole civilized world. A 1000 foot-wide rock hitting the Earth would mean the destruction of hundreds of atomic bombs. Millions of people were to die and the entire world system was to be suspended.
However, later more accurate observations ruled out this possibility. According to NASA reports, this rock will pass very close to the Earth on April 13, 2029, at a distance of 20,000 miles, but it has no chance to hit the Earth. But this distance is so short that, on that day, people will see it passing over the Earth with their own eyes. If this scene is seen on the video on the Internet, it will seem that the distance of 20,000 miles from which this rock will pass through the Earth is a tiny distance by space standards. It is as if humanity was saved from a great catastrophe by a distance as short as hair’s breadth.
The statements related to the Day of Judgment in the heavenly scriptures show that it will be started from a heavenly calamity (Revelation 20:9), (Al-Dhariyat 51:22). According to the available scientific information, one possible form of this is hitting of a space rock with the Earth the destruction caused by which will destroy all the creatures on the earth. The rock that wiped out the dinosaurs and seventy percent of Earth’s species was only ten to fifteen kilometers long. There are much bigger rocks moving in the solar system and the day Allah wills, they will turn towards the Earth.
According to many scientists, hitting of space rock is a certain thing and it is not a matter of if but when. That is, the timing of this may be uncertain, but it will must happen. One of the reasons for sending space missions to Mars and other places is to find an alternative to Earth. The various projects going on in the world to transfer the human brain, which is the origin of the human personality, into a metal mold, behind them is the desire to defeat death, and also the purpose is to prepare a mold for the human being that can live in all kinds of harsh environments on other planets.
In the modern era, if the people of the West and other modern nations are thinking in this direction, behind it is the thought of denying God according to which this universe is a factory of luck and coincidence where man has come by luck. This material world is the ultimate reality and this life is the only truth.
On the other hand, the reality is that very soon Allah is going to end this world. Three major prophecies were made in the heavenly scriptures before the Day of Judgment. One is the coming of Jesus, the second is the coming of the Holy Prophet, and the third is the domination of Gog and Magog over the world. The first prophecy was fulfilled with the revelation of the Gospel of Jesus and only two prophecies remained in the Gospel of Jesus. That is, the arrival of the Prophet and the dominance of Gog and Magog. With the revelation of the Qur’an, the second prophecy was also fulfilled, and only the prophecy of Gog and Magog was left in the Qur’an. With the dominance of Western nations in the present era, this third prophecy has also been fulfilled. Now the only thing left is the coming of the Day of Judgment, which can come at any time.
Blessed are those people who make themselves the desired people of the Qur’an before the Day of Judgment. Unfortunate are those people who remain oblivious despite seeing such clear signs of the Day of Judgment.
