Very few individuals possess the highest human trait, acknowledging someone’s goodness. If people fall into hero worship or become prey to romance, they exaggerate beyond acknowledgment. However, it’s strange that humans are unwilling to admit the greatness of the entity that deserves the most significant recognition and should be the center of all human affection and i.e. Allah Almighty. He is the witness of human existence and this entire universe with His kindness, perfection, and greatness.
The most significant expression of this happens when people sit to pray. Prayer is when a person places his needs and difficulties before his Lord. Even then, we present a list of our desires to Allah Almighty, and when this list is exhausted, we go about our ways. In contrast, this is the opportunity when a person should acknowledge Allah Almighty the most.
Even if nothing else, during prayer, we should ensure that when we ask from God, we refer to his highest attributes. Acknowledge that he is generous, merciful, and kind. Explain how God’s power has granted you existence in the past and how his grace has elevated you. He has given countless precious blessings, without any of which would ruin a person’s life. But people do none of these, they present God with a wish list, and then proceed with their activities.
The truth is that God listens to everyone’s prayers in all circumstances and removes difficulties. But those who confess the truth before the wish list are also granted high positions in heaven and the world.
