This world, that world
Every action we take in this material world creates a result. If we walk, we will move forward. If we sow, we will reap. If we eat, we will be full. If we drink, we will quench our thirst. If we speak, we will be heard. If we work hard, we will accumulate resources in the world.
But in this world, the act of faith does not produce any material result. Rather, sometimes the opposite results. A true believer passionately praises the Creator of the heavens and the Earth in such a way that the mountains and birds join him, but he is left homeless from his home and country-less from his homeland. An honest person does not pollute himself even when surrounded by corruption, but his honesty does not create expensive plots and luxurious houses for him. An honorable girl maintains her nobility, but in this age of beauty worship, getting married remains a dream for her.
Values without which humanity would be deprived of humanity are ultimately ineffective in this material world. There is no more depressing reality in this material world. This is when the book of God tells us that this material world will one day be trampled to a leveled field and every material action will be destroyed. Then a new world will be created. In this world, every tear shed in love and fear of God will create a kingdom of stars and galaxies.
The gaze that bows down on seeing obscenity will be made an eternal spectator of beauty. The modesty that hid, instead of flaunting publicly, will be molded into the epitome of beauty and perfection. Faith, mercy, generosity, patience will become the cheque books on this day with which every palace and every blessing of heaven can be bought.
This material world and all its activities are impermanent. That world of faith is eternal. All its blessings are eternal.
